I was flipping through my old negatives, looking for images that weren't strong enough to stand on their own that I could potentially use for something else, when I found a series I'd shot at White Lake, NC. They were typical summertime vacation shots, except for my vantage point, which was standing in the water.

Looking at them again, the ones I took around and underneath of the pier seemed to have a creepy vibe about them. Waves lap at mossy ladders, water drips from above, and children huddle in the shadows, clinging to the beams overhead.

So I decided to have fun with them, splicing vacation photos together with an image from a recent shoot I did with ~LinesBetweenTheStars (she doesn't look creepy in real life!) and melding them into a 50's sci-fi creepshow.
